4. Sharing Responsibilities

When you participate in our Program, we provide the training and support you need for a quality learning experience.

Your motivation and attitudes will impact your learning and the learning of others. Practice the characteristics of a successful learner. 

• Be self-motivated
• Learn independently
• Become familiar with technology
• Manage your time
• Use positive communication skills
• Actively strengthen your reading, writing, speaking and listening abilities
• Make a personal commitment to learning
• Set aside time to learn
• Balance learning with life, family, and work demands
• Ask for help when you need it

As a responsible learner, you will:

• Log into the Learning Space regularly.
• Read and reply to messages.
• Ask questions, share your ideas, and describe your experiences.
• Join conference calls. 
• Complete the Required Learning Activity by the due date.
• Provide feedback on your learning experiences.
• Let us know if you need to step away for a bit. If we don't hear from you, we get worried. If we don't hear from you for a few months, you will be unenrolled to make space for others.
